Why I built CertOnyx

I've spent years leading mid-size and large-scale projects across major organizations. Earning my PMP and Scrum certifications gave me another perspective on that work: the experience of preparing for an exam while trying to understand how its concepts apply to real decisions.
During my own preparation, I wanted more from a practice question than a correct answer. I wanted to understand why an action made sense in that situation, why another plausible action was less appropriate, and what I could learn from the difference.
That is the idea behind CertOnyx: practical certification preparation built around clear reasoning, useful explanations, and a transparent approach to content quality.
Working in both English and French also shaped the product. Candidates should be able to study in either language with consistent meaning, professional terminology, and explanations they can follow.

How we approach question quality
Our PMP content is developed using the July 2026 PMP Examination Content Outline to guide coverage, with the PMBOK Guide—Eighth Edition and relevant authoritative PMI sources supporting the concepts and reasoning.
Questions focus on situations in which a project manager must assess context, weigh plausible alternatives, and choose an appropriate response. Explanations address each option, including why a reasonable action may be less suitable in the situation described.
Our production process combines structured authoring, human review, independent blind-solving checks, automated validation, and AI-assisted tools used within a controlled workflow. Blind solving means working through a question without access to its authored answer or explanation. Automated checks identify structural inconsistencies and flag potential problems; they do not establish whether an answer is conceptually correct.
Souhail and Kenza participate in human review in both languages. English and French content is reviewed for meaning, terminology, clarity, and consistency of the answers and explanations.

Honest information about your preparation
We do not publish invented pass rates or promise exam success. Practice results can help identify areas to work on, but they cannot guarantee an examination outcome.

English and French are part of the content workflow. Our review considers whether the same situation, decision, and reasoning are communicated clearly in both versions.
